Second, we should consider the adaptability of the selected correction technology to the guide rail data. For example, cast iron surfacing is usually not used for the guide rail made of cast iron. Due to the poor weldability of the casting, cracks, pores and other shortcomings are easy to occur, and the processing and repair are also very complex. High welding temperature (gas welding here) is easy to cause deformation of guide rail, etc.
Third, we should consider the mechanical strength of the repair layer itself and the actual working environment of the guide rail. For example, we all use tin bismuth alloy to repair 4m gantry planer guide rail and T68 boring guide rail, because the former guide rail is smooth and in good condition, and the equipment has been used for a long time, and the condition is still outstanding; The latter may fall off in just a few years because of poor smooth conditions and poor working environment.
